Some of the Fact Controllers have worked on your side of the fence, setting quiz questions for broadcast, so we understand the pressures you are under. We understand subject areas to avoid and we know how to rework questions to make them easy to read out loud, using language appropriate to the viewers. Many of the members of our team have been contestants on TV shows too, so we also understand quizzes from a contestant’s point of view.
Verifying Quiz Questions
OK, so we’re stating the obvious now! We have verified questions in all sorts of formats, from straight Q&A to Multiple Choice, and from True or False to complex Multiple Correct Answer questions. We do our very best to rescue questions, so wastage is minimised. If we can’t save a question, we will try to think of something you can replace it with.
Three People To Every Question
Every question will be seen by three people, including at least one senior verifier and a proof-reader. All verifiers are sent copies of the questions that are returned to our clients as part of their on-going training and to ensure that the highest standards are met at all times.

We are always happy to help you reword a question that isn’t quite working and to advise on any issues with questions.
24/7 Service
For a 20% premium, our night shift team will work on your questions overnight if you need them to. We also work at weekends for no additional charge.
On Call Verifier Service
For clients who send us more than 1,000 questions to verify on a show, we also offer an ‘On Call Verifier Service’ for when you’re in studio. You will have direct access to one of our senior verifiers who can help you decide whether or not an answer should be accepted. We hope this will give you peace of mind. There is no additional charge for this service.
